CFIA is a social group which was approved by the State Council and was founded in 1985.It plays an important role as a bridge between the government and enterprises, social groups and personnel who are engaged in the feed industry field. Its purpose is , under the guidance of the goverment, following the rules and socialism marketing economic regulations, to help the govenment manage the industries, to set up the relationship among industries and that between industry and government, to maintain the legal rights and interests of members,to serve the member ship and businesses honestly, and to promote the development of China feed industry based on the progress of science and technology.
The main task of CFIA is to help the government program the industries and provide basic linkages for the government to enact policy,propagate basic knowledge of feed industry,extend science and technology achievements and managing experience, organize trade cooperation and science and technology exchange, offer information service,give academic seminars,compile and publish relevant papers and magazines, develop relevant public welfare, reflect members' opinion and requirement, and give advice to the government.
